Professional capsule pressure gauge for precise measurement of low pressures
The capsule pressure gauge model 612.20 is a high-class measuring instrument designed for monitoring low pressures of gases and liquids in industrial applications. The device utilizes a proven capsule method based on the Bourdon system, ensuring accurate measurements within the range of 0...25 kPa.
Construction and materials ensuring durability
The pressure gauge housing is made of high-quality stainless steel, guaranteeing corrosion resistance and long-term operation in demanding industrial conditions. The Twist cover, also made of stainless steel, allows easy access to the interior of the device during service or calibration.
The measuring system is based on a copper alloy, known for its excellent thermal stability and resistance to material fatigue. The mechanism transmitting the deformation of the Bourdon tube to the pointer is also made of copper alloy, ensuring precise operation over many years of service.
The protective window made of glass protects the dial against mechanical damage and contamination while ensuring excellent readability.
Technical parameters and compliance with standards
The device features a housing diameter of 100 mm, ensuring a clear scale and comfortable reading even from a greater distance. The standard process connection M20 x 1,5 enables installation in most industrial installations without the need for additional adapters.
The bottom (radial) connection position simplifies installation in pipeline systems and allows optimal use of mounting space. Accuracy class 1.6 according to standard EN 837-3 guarantees the high measurement precision required in industrial applications.
Industrial applications and operating environments
The pressure gauge is particularly suitable for measuring dry and non-aggressive gaseous media. It is used in medical, vacuum, and environmental technologies. It is ideally suited for laboratory use and for monitoring filters and the content of various substances.
Thanks to WIKA's modular construction, it is possible to adapt various housing materials, process connections, and scale ranges to specific application requirements. Protection class IP54 ensures reliable operation even in environments with increased humidity or dust.
The capsule measurement method is particularly suitable for low pressures – under the influence of pressure, the Bourdon tube undergoes proportional deformation, which is transmitted to the mechanism and accurately indicated on the dial calibrated in kPa units.
