The WIKA model 213.53 is a high-class measuring instrument specifically designed for operation in extreme industrial environments. Thanks to its stainless steel case and copper alloy measuring system, it ensures reliable pressure measurement in installations exposed to strong vibrations and dynamic loads.

Construction and Materials Ensuring Durability

The case made of stainless steel type 53 with a rolled cover, along with the fitting made of stainless steel 1.4301, provides excellent resistance to corrosion and mechanical damage. The measuring system based on a Bourdon tube made of copper alloy guarantees precise and stable readings over many years of operation.

The glycerin filling of the case acts as a damper, effectively suppressing vibrations of the pressure element and the moving pointer mechanism. This ensures readability even under strong vibrations and rapid load changes, which is particularly important in hydraulic and compressor systems.

Operating Parameters and Safety

The instrument operates in the range 0...6 bar with an accuracy class of 1.6 according to EN 837-1. The dial diameter of 63 mm and the process connection G 1/4 B mounted at the bottom (radially) make it compatible with most standard industrial installations.

The medium temperature can range from -20°C to +100°C, while the ambient operating temperature of the device is between -20°C and +60°C. The pressure gauge meets the IP65 protection rating, ensuring complete dust tightness and protection against water jets.

As a safety feature, the instrument is equipped with a blow-out device: a plug located in the upper part of the case allows safe venting of overpressure in the event of a failure of the pressure element.

Industrial Applications and Compatibility

Model 213.53 is used, among others, in hydraulic systems for monitoring oil pressure, in compressor installations subject to strong vibrations, as well as in marine and machinery industries where harsh environmental conditions prevail. It is also a standard component for monitoring the operating parameters of power systems in machine building.

Thanks to standard dimensions (63 mm diameter, G 1/4" thread), the pressure gauge is compatible with most European installations and can replace products from other brands with similar specifications. For panel mounting, mounting flanges or triangular-profile rings with a mounting bracket are available for models with rear connections.

WIKA also produces this model in nominal diameters of 50 mm and 100 mm, and offers accuracy classes down to 1.0, allowing selection of the optimal solution for specific industrial applications.
