Circulation pump for efficient heating and cooling

Wilo-VeroLine-IPL 50/155-4/2-IE3 is a canned circulation pump with an inline design, intended for use in heating, cooling systems, and cold water installations. Its solid construction and thoughtful design ensure reliable operation and long service life. The pump is particularly recommended for circulating heating water in accordance with VDI 2035, as well as water-glycol mixtures – provided they do not contain abrasive substances.

Design and application

The pump is characterized by a flanged connection, which facilitates installation and integration with the existing installation. Condensate drain holes in the motor housing and lantern minimize the risk of corrosion and ensure optimal operating conditions. The inline design allows for easy integration of the pump into the pipeline, saving space and simplifying installation. This makes it suitable for both new installations and modernization of existing systems. The pump is designed to operate in a temperature range from -20°C to +120°C, making it a universal solution for various applications.

Performance and reliability

The heart of the pump is a 4 kW motor with energy efficiency class IE3 – this guarantees low operating costs and minimal environmental impact. The pump's capacity is 44.29 m³/h at a head of 217.51 kPa, and the maximum capacity reaches 63.24 m³/h at a head of 27.22 m. The pump body made of cast iron GG 25 and the impeller made of cast iron GG 20 ensure high resistance to corrosion and mechanical damage. In addition, the cathodic coating protects against corrosion, increasing the durability of the device. Protection class IP55 guarantees safe use even in difficult environmental conditions. The motor is equipped with an extended shaft, which facilitates the installation of additional devices or sensors.
