Characteristics and application
Wilo-Helix V 614-1/16/E/KS/400-50 is a device designed for operation with clean water or non-aggressive liquids. Its design allows pumping liquids with a temperature from -15°C to 50°C (up to 120°C in some versions). The pump is particularly recommended for applications requiring high performance at relatively high head heights – it achieves a flow rate of up to 10 m³/h and a head of up to 122.5 m. Thanks to the use of high-quality materials, the pump is corrosion-resistant and ensures long-lasting, trouble-free operation.
Construction and design features
The pump is characterized by a solid construction with a casing and impeller made of stainless steel (grade 304 or 316 depending on the version). The use of stainless steel guarantees corrosion resistance and ensures the durability of the device even in harsh operating conditions. The motor with a power of 3 kW is powered by a voltage of 230-400 V at a frequency of 50 Hz. The degree of protection IP55 provides protection against dust and water jets, allowing the pump to be mounted in various environments. An important element is also the compact inline design, which facilitates the installation and integration of the pump with the existing installation. Inlet and outlet connections with a diameter of 1 ¼ inch (32 mm) have an internal gas cylindrical BSPP-G thread (ISO 228-1). The maximum operating pressure is 16 bar.
