Intelligent circulation pump for demanding installations
Wilo-Stratos MAXO 40/0,5-12 PN6/10 is a wet-rotor circulation pump with an EC motor, designed for efficient operation in various systems – from domestic heating installations to advanced industrial systems. Its design and advanced functions ensure optimal adaptation to the needs of the installation and significantly reduce operating costs. The pump is distinguished by intuitive operation, high energy efficiency and the ability to integrate with building management systems (BMS).
Performance and adaptation to needs
At the heart of the pump is an energy-saving EC motor with a built-in frequency converter, which enables smooth speed control. Thanks to this, Stratos MAXO adjusts its performance to the current demand for heat or cooling, minimizing energy consumption. The Dynamic Adapt Plus function automatically optimizes operating parameters, and Multi-Flow Adaptation allows for efficient operation in systems with variable characteristics. In addition, the No-Flow Stop function reduces power consumption in situations with no flow. The pump offers a range of control modes, including constant differential pressure (Δp‑c), constant flow (Q) and constant temperature.
Installation comfort and communication
The pump installation has been designed with convenience and speed of assembly in mind. A clear terminal box with spare space and an optimized Wilo-Connector facilitate electrical connection. The built-in Bluetooth interface enables wireless configuration and remote monitoring using mobile devices. Standard communication interfaces (digital and analog) are also available, allowing integration with building automation systems (Modbus TCP/RTU, BACnet IP/MS/TP, LON, CANopen, PLR) via additional CIF modules.
The pump has insulation class F and protection class IPX4D, which ensures safe operation in various environmental conditions. Made of gray cast iron (GG 25) and a plastic impeller, it guarantees the durability and reliability of the device. The maximum medium temperature is 110°C, and the minimum is -10°C. The motor power consumption is 490 W with a rated current of 2.15 A. The energy efficiency index (EEI) at 0.17 confirms the high energy efficiency of the pump.
