Air-gas flue pipe DN60, 1000mm 2651872
Flue gas extraction system for condensing boilers
The air-flue gas pipe with a nominal diameter DN60 and a length of 1000 mm is a key component in mechanical ventilation and flue gas extraction systems, especially in installations with condensing boilers. Its concentric construction (60/100 mm) allows simultaneous intake of combustion air and extraction of flue gases within a single, sealed duct. This solution eliminates the risk of flue gas backflow into the room and prevents contaminants from the chimney shaft from entering the interior of the heating appliance.
Thanks to the use of acid-resistant steel in the core and stainless steel in the outer jacket, this pipe exhibits high resistance to corrosion caused by acidic condensates formed during the condensation process. This is particularly important when operating with gaseous or oil fuels, where flue gas temperatures can reach up to 200°C. The pipe is designed for operation under positive pressure (class P1), ensuring system tightness even at higher pressures generated by turbo boiler fans.
Application and compatibility
This component is primarily dedicated to installation within existing chimney shafts, allowing modernization of old flue gas installations for modern condensing boilers without the need to construct a new duct. The concentric system 60/100 mm is standard for many popular boiler models, such as:
- Ariston ALTEAS ONE NET
- Ariston GENUS ONE NET / SYSTEM
- Ariston CLAS ONE
- Ariston CARES Premium EVO
In the case of vertical installations within shafts, this pipe can be connected with other system components (elbows, tees, adapters) to form a complete flue gas run. It should be noted that for greater shaft heights (above 6 m) or longer pipe runs, it may be necessary to use diameter reducers or additional support elements to maintain optimal draft and ensure safe appliance operation.
Construction and installation principles
The pipe is manufactured with precision, ensuring durable socket (push-fit) connections, which facilitate quick installation by the installer and eliminate the need for additional gaskets at the pipe joint itself – sealing is provided by factory-installed condensate-resistant gaskets. The maximum distance between fixing points is 4 meters, and from the last fixing point to the end of the pipe – 3 meters, requiring appropriate planning of stabilization points within the chimney shaft.
It is worth noting that during installation, proper positioning of the air intake must be ensured – it must have an open outlet without a wind cap on the outer pipe itself, which is crucial for the correct operation of the negative pressure/condensing system. Thanks to CE certificates and ISO standards (9001/14001), the product meets the rigorous safety requirements applied in the HVACR industry in Europe. The external diameter of the connection is 60 mm for the flue gas core while maintaining an outer jacket diameter of 100 mm for air intake. The core is made of acid-resistant steel grade 1.4521, and the jacket of stainless steel grade 1.4301/1.4509 with wall thickness ranging from 0.4 to 0.5 mm. The pipe withstands temperatures up to 200°C and working pressure P1 (up to 200 Pa), while being completely sealed against water vapor and water, protecting the chimney structure from moisture. Pipes can be cut to the required length according to shaft dimensions or distance from the boiler.
