The PBM-02/24V bistable relay from ZAMEL's EXTA series is a reliable solution for controlling lighting or other electrical devices. Its design allows you to switch the circuit on and off using single-pole buttons connected in parallel – each press changes the relay's state. This is an ideal solution for both home installations and commercial facilities where simple and intuitive operation is required.

Construction and application

The relay is designed for DIN rail mounting, occupying only one module width. This makes it easy to install and does not require much space in the distribution board. Manual operation and a testing function increase user comfort and facilitate diagnostics. The device is perfect for group, local or central lighting control systems, as well as applications requiring the relay state to be memorized.

Parameters and capabilities

The relay operates at a control voltage of 24V AC/DC, ensuring compatibility with various control systems. The maximum switching capacity for incandescent bulbs is 2000W, and for fluorescent lamps 500VA (750VA with parallel compensation, 1000VA with DUO compensation). The rated switching current is 16A, and the maximum switching current (cos φ = 0.6) is 10A. This allows the relay to be used to control various electrical loads. It has one normally open contact, which simplifies the connection diagram. The device maintains its state even after power is disconnected – state memory allows it to maintain the setting without the need for continuous power supply.
