Remote control and notifications with GRM-10

The GRM-10 modular GSM remote controller with 2 channels is a versatile device designed for simple control and notification operations performed via the GSM network. Thanks to it, it is possible to remotely switch electrical devices on and off, as well as receive notifications about their status. This is an ideal solution for both home users and professionals in the automation industry.

Functionality and application

GRM-10 has two independent relay outputs with a maximum load of 16 A / 250 V AC, which allows you to control various receivers, such as lighting, gates, blinds or alarm systems. Two digital inputs allow integration with external alarm systems or sensors. The RS485 interface, combined with the RXM-01 translator, expands the device's capabilities, allowing you to control Exta Free system receivers using SMS messages. This gives the user full control over their system from anywhere in the world.

The device is mounted on a TH-35 rail in a 3-MOD modular housing, which facilitates installation in electrical switchboards. Optical signaling of the operating status (power supply, relay status, GSM modem status) ensures quick and easy monitoring of the device. Low power consumption allows for continuous operation without fear of excessive energy consumption.

Technical specifications and construction

GRM-10 is made of plastic in white with a matte surface finish. The device does not have surface protection and is not halogenated. Its construction ensures reliable operation in various environmental conditions (operating temperature: -10 ÷ +55 °C). Compliance with PN-EN 60950-1:2007, PN-EN 55024:2000 and PN-EN 61000-4-4 standards guarantees safety of use and compatibility with other electrical devices.

The controller has a SIM card slot and a micro USB port for configuration and software updates using dedicated computer software. PK1 and PK2 buttons are also available for testing the operation of the relay outputs directly on the device.
