The LED fixture RUBI is a practical solution for lighting staircases, corridors, and other circulation spaces. Equipped with a motion sensor and twilight switch, it automatically turns the light on upon detecting presence and only under conditions of insufficient ambient light. This eliminates the need to manually switch the light on and off, enhancing user convenience and energy savings.

Design and Application

The fixture is designed for surface mounting and is directly powered by 230V AC mains voltage, eliminating the need for additional power supplies. This ensures simple and rapid installation, making it ideal for both new constructions and retrofitting existing systems. An additional dry contact with a load capacity of 3A allows connection of other luminaires, enabling the creation of an integrated lighting system—for example, throughout a stairwell.

Adjustment and Lighting Parameters

The RUBI fixture offers extensive adjustment options to tailor operation to individual needs. The ability to set the turn-on duration (2–35 seconds) and twilight switch sensitivity (2–20 lx) enables precise customization to the specific conditions of the space. The LED light source emits a warm white color, creating a cozy atmosphere. With a luminous flux of 95 lumens, it provides sufficient visibility, while an estimated service life of 40,000 hours ensures long-term use without the need for lamp replacement. The motion sensor has a detection range of 2 to 3 meters with a 120° field of view. The fixture has an IP20 protection rating, indicating protection against solid objects larger than 12 mm and suitability for indoor use only.
