Smart lighting with motion sensor MCR-01

The MCR-01 microwave motion sensor is an active detector that uses high-frequency electromagnetic waves (5.8 GHz) to detect even the slightest movement in the monitored area. Its operation is based on analyzing changes in the reflected signal – as soon as something moves, the sensor sends a signal to turn on the light. This solution is ideal for both home and commercial applications, where lighting automation increases comfort and safety.

Versatile mounting and discretion

MCR-01 is designed for flexibility. It can be built into lighting fixtures, behind walls made of plasterboard, glass, wood or plastics. Such mounting provides a discreet look of the installation, while increasing its safety – the sensor is hidden from potential intruders. This makes it perfect for places requiring a subtle solution, where aesthetics are as important as functionality.

Precision and reliable operation

The MCR-01 sensor is characterized by high sensitivity and the ability to detect movement through various materials. This means that it reacts even to movement behind obstacles, which increases its efficiency. Additionally, it has built-in adjustment functions:

• Twilight sensor: allows you to adjust the activation threshold to the ambient light intensity (range 2 ÷ 2000 lx). Thanks to this, the light will only turn on when it is actually needed.

• Operating time: allows smooth adjustment of the lighting time after motion detection (from 8 seconds to 12 minutes).

• Detection range: allows you to adapt the monitoring area to the specifics of the room (from 3 to 10 meters).

Low power consumption (0.9 W) and no influence of temperature on detection guarantee stable and economical operation of the device. The load capacity is 1200 W at a supply voltage of 220 ÷ 240 V AC. The IP20 protection class provides protection against touching with a finger and solid objects larger than 12.5 mm. Mounting is done with expansion bolts 5x(3x30). The dimensions of the device are 90 x 41.5 x 41.5 mm and its weight is only 70 g.
