4-channel modular radio receiver – independent device control

The ROM-24 modular radio receiver is a key element of the Exta Life system, allowing independent control of up to four devices or circuits. The outputs are implemented using four relays with normally closed contacts, loadable up to 5A, which enables control of both low-voltage circuits (12/24V AC/DC) and high-voltage circuits (230V AC). This versatile solution is perfect for home and office installations where flexibility in managing lighting, heating or other devices is needed.

Functionality and possibilities

ROM-24 offers two-way communication with the controller, providing current information about the status of each channel in the mobile application. This allows not only monitoring but also remote adding of transmitters without the need for physical access to the receiver. Additionally, the receiver can be controlled both by the controller and directly from the Exta Life transmitters, increasing ease of use. Configurable external inputs extend the functionality of the device, allowing integration with existing building automation systems. The remote software update function provides access to the latest improvements and security features.

Installation and compatibility

The receiver is designed for mounting on a TH35 (DIN) rail in electrical distribution boards. The detachable antenna allows connection of an external antenna to improve radio range, especially in difficult installation conditions. Compatibility with the full range of Exta Life devices – controllers, transmitters and sensors – guarantees the creation of a coherent and functional smart home system. Thanks to the coding algorithm based on a 128-bit key, control security is ensured.
