The dusk-to-dawn switch WZS-01 is a practical solution for automatically turning on and off external or internal lighting depending on the light level. The device is particularly useful where we want to ensure comfort and safety, as well as reduce energy consumption. Thanks to the internal light sensor, the switch automatically adjusts to changing lighting conditions, eliminating the need for manual control.

The switch is designed for surface mounting, which simplifies its installation in existing electrical installations. The hermetic housing (IP54) protects the device from moisture and dust, allowing it to be used both indoors and outdoors – for example, for lighting facades, gardens or driveways. This makes it a reliable solution even in difficult weather conditions.

Smooth adjustment and reliable operation

A key feature of the WZS-01 switch is the ability to smoothly adjust the switching threshold. The user can independently set the moment when the lighting should turn on, adapting it to individual needs and preferences. The adjustment range is from 0 to 200 lx. In addition, the switch circuit is resistant to short-term changes in light intensity, which ensures stable operation even with transient shading or sudden changes in lighting.

The dusk-to-dawn switch WZS-01 operates at a rated supply voltage of 230 V AC and a frequency of 50/60 Hz. It draws 24 mA of current, and its relay contacts can withstand a load of 16 A at 250 V AC (power 4000 VA). The degree of protection of the housing is IP54, and the setting range of the switching threshold is 0-200 lx. The connection wires should have a cross-section of 0.2 to 2.50 mm². The device maintains proper operation at a temperature of -20 °C to +45 °C and has dimensions of 84x68x43 mm.

The dusk-to-dawn switch WZS-01 is a product of the ZAMEL brand – a Polish manufacturer specializing in solutions in the field of building automation and electrical engineering. The device meets the requirements of the PN-EN 61000-4-5 standard regarding resistance to electromagnetic interference and the PN-EN 60529 standard defining the degree of protection of the IP54 housing. Mounting is done with expansion bolts (2x expansion bolt 6x(3.5x35)).
