Check Valve with Backflow Prevention – Reliable Protection for Installations

The zGLO Fig. 215C check valve is a versatile device combining the functions of a check valve and a shut-off valve. It provides effective protection against reverse flow of the medium and enables complete isolation of the supply line. This is particularly critical in systems requiring high operational reliability and minimized risk of damage.

This valve features a robust construction and high manufacturing quality. The body, made of ductile iron, ensures excellent corrosion resistance and long service life, even under demanding operating conditions. Critical internal components—the zGLO stem, zGLO disc, and zGLO seat ring—are manufactured from stainless steel, further enhancing resistance to aggressive media and guaranteeing tight sealing. The design with a spring-loaded free-floating zGLO disc enables smooth and efficient valve operation.

Construction and Applications

The zGLO Fig. 215C valve is equipped with flanged connections, simplifying installation and integration into existing infrastructure. It is suitable for use across various industrial sectors, including water, heating, process, and sanitary systems. It performs reliably in both new installations and during upgrades of existing systems.

The use of stainless steel in key internal components makes this valve suitable for handling a variety of media, including potable water and other liquids that do not compromise the material’s integrity. Class A tightness (per EN 12266-1) ensures minimal pressure loss and optimal user comfort.

This valve is especially recommended in applications demanding high operational reliability and protection against reverse flow consequences—for example, in systems protecting pumps from damage or preventing mixing of different substances.
