The filter effectively protects valves, pumps, and other system components from damage caused by dirt, rust, or sand.
This filter is suitable for use in hot and cold water systems, steam lines, industrial processes, heating, refrigeration, and air conditioning systems. Thanks to its design allowing cleaning without disconnecting from the pipeline, maintenance is simple and convenient. It complies with the Pressure Equipment Directive 97/23/EC and carries the CE mark for diameters above DN32.
Construction and Key Features
The filter features a stainless steel insert with 1.6 mm mesh openings (15 openings/cm²), ensuring efficient filtration. The gray cast iron housing guarantees mechanical strength and corrosion resistance. Flanges are machined in accordance with EN 1092-1 (for body material group F) and EN 1092-2 (for material groups A, C, D). The filter is designed for operation at temperatures up to 450°C and a nominal pressure of PN40. The cover is secured with screws, ensuring tightness and easy access to the filter insert during cleaning.
The Fig. 821 mesh filter features a compact design and environmentally safe operation. It is compatible with calculation programs such as Instal-therm, Instal-san, Audytor C.O. 3.8, and Audytor H2O 1.5, facilitating accurate selection for specific applications. Optional versions are available with a magnetic insert for enhanced filtration efficiency, as well as models constructed from ductile iron, carbon steel, or stainless steel, tailored to meet specific system requirements.
