Gate Valve – Reliable Shut-off for Pipelines
This gate valve, model ZGLO Fig. 215, with nominal diameter DN65 and pressure class PN16, is a robust solution for precise flow isolation in diverse piping systems. Manufactured from durable gray cast iron EN-GJL-250, it ensures long-term, trouble-free operation. The design features a detachable stem-to-mushroom connection, facilitating easy servicing and maintenance.
This valve performs excellently in hot and cold water systems, steam networks, and demanding industrial, district heating, and power generation applications. Thanks to high tightness (Class A per EN 12266-1), it minimizes leakage risk and ensures safe operation.
Construction and Materials – Guarantee of Durability
The key feature is the use of stainless steel for the stem, mushroom, and hull ring. This combination provides excellent corrosion resistance and extended service life, even under harsh operating conditions. The mushroom seal, made of PTFE, further enhances valve tightness and reliability. Flanges are machined in accordance with EN 1092-2 for hull material group A, simplifying installation and integration with existing systems. Face-to-face dimension complies with EN 558-1 Series 1.
The valve meets the requirements of the Pressure Equipment Directive 97/23/EC and bears the CE marking for DN 32, confirming compliance with European safety standards. Technical data is available in popular engineering software (Instal-therm, Instal-san, Audytor C.O. 3.8, Audytor H2O 1.5), facilitating design and selection for specific application needs.
This valve is designed for use with water only and is not suitable for gases. Maximum operating pressure is 16 bar, with nominal pressure PN also rated at 16 bar. The simple valve design ensures easy operation and intuitive handling.
