Gate valve zGLO Fig. 215C, DN125 PN16, ductile iron EN-GJS-400-18-LT, design: 43, swing check, loose disc without spring, stem, disc and body ring – bronze 215C125C43
zGLO Shut-off Valve – Reliable Isolation for Demanding Installations
The zGLO shut-off valve Fig. 215C is a robust solution for precise flow isolation in a wide range of installations. Manufactured from ductile iron EN-GJS-400-18-LT, it ensures long-term, trouble-free operation even under harsh conditions. This model, with a nominal diameter DN125 and nominal pressure PN16, combines a proven design with modern materials to guarantee safety and efficiency.
The valve features a shut-off-check design with a spring-free loose disc. This construction minimizes the risk of unintended valve closure while enabling fast and reliable flow isolation. The 43 construction variant, with stem, disc, and body ring made of bronze, provides excellent resistance to corrosion and abrasion, resulting in extended service life.
Key Features and Applications
The zGLO Fig. 215C valve is suitable for a broad spectrum of applications:
- Hot, cold, and cooling water systems: Thanks to material resistance to various media, the valve performs excellently in water-based systems.
- Steam systems: High resistance to elevated temperatures and pressures enables use in steam installations.
- Industrial processes: The robust construction and high tightness make it an ideal component for demanding industrial applications.
- District heating and power generation: The valve meets stringent safety standards, making it essential for energy sector applications.
The valve complies with the Pressure Equipment Directive 97/23/EC and carries CE marking for DN 32, confirming its safety and quality. Testing and inspections conducted in accordance with EN 12266-1 guarantee reliability and high tightness (Class A per EN 12266-1). Flanges are machined in accordance with EN 1092-2 for body material group A, and the face-to-face dimension conforms to Series 1 per EN 558-1 – facilitating seamless integration into existing systems.
Additionally, the valve is compatible with leading calculation software: Instal-therm, Instal-san, Audytor C.O. 3.8, and Audytor H2O 1.5. Technical data for this product are already preloaded in these libraries, significantly simplifying design and selection.
