Shut-off valve zGLO Fig. 215C, DN40 PN16, ductile iron EN-GJS-400-18-LT, type: 43, shut-off and check, loose disc without spring, stem, disc and body ring – bronze 215C040C43
The shut-off valve zGLO Fig. 215C is a reliable solution for flow control in diverse installations. Manufactured from ductile iron EN-GJS-400-18-LT, it ensures long-term, trouble-free operation even under demanding conditions. The swing-check design with a spring-free, loose disc, combined with internal components—stem, disc, and body ring—made of bronze, guarantees high tightness and corrosion resistance.
This valve performs excellently in hot, cold, and cooling water systems, as well as in steam systems, industrial processes, district heating, and power generation. Designed for maximum operating pressure of 16 bar and nominal pressure PN 16, it complies with the Pressure Equipment Directive 97/23/EC and carries CE marking for DN 32. Thanks to conformity with EN 12266-1 and EN 558-1 (Series 1) standards, and flanges drilled according to EN 1092-2, installation is simple and intuitive.
- Robust construction: Ductile iron EN-GJS-400-18-LT provides resistance to high pressures and extreme temperatures.
- High tightness: Class A tightness per EN 12266-1 minimizes leakage risk and ensures efficient flow control.
- Versatile application: Ideal for water, steam, and industrial or energy systems.
- Standards compliance: Meets requirements of the Pressure Equipment Directive 97/23/EC and European standards (EN).
- Software compatibility: Technical data is available in leading calculation software libraries: Instal-therm, Instal-san, Audytor C.O. 3.8, and Audytor H2O 1.5—facilitating system design and component selection.
- Safety: The swing-check valve prevents backflow, protecting the system from damage.
The Fig. 215C valve also features extended service life and minimal maintenance requirements due to high-quality materials and precision manufacturing. The valve design enables easy integration into existing pipeline systems with nominal diameter DN40. Construction 43 (stem, disc, and body ring in bronze) enhances resistance to chemical corrosion, making it especially suitable for aggressive operating environments.
