Settling tank FIG.823 DN25 823A025C10
Inclined strainer – protection of installations and equipment
The FIG.823 DN25 sediment trap is a reliable element protecting installations from mechanical impurities. It is a mesh filter designed for mounting in pipelines, the task of which is to capture sand, rust, sediment and other solid particles that can damage valves, pumps or other sensitive components of the system. Made of cast iron GG 25 (GJL-250), it provides durability and corrosion resistance.
This filter finds wide application in industrial installations of hot and cold water, steam, heating, and cooling systems. It will also be useful in air conditioning installations and systems using other non-aggressive media. Thanks to its compact design and the ability to clean the filter without disassembly, its operation is convenient and economical.
- Wide application: ideal for industrial installations of various types – from water to steam and cooling systems.
- Durability and resistance: made of high-quality cast iron GG 25 (GJL-250) guarantees long life and corrosion resistance.
- Stainless steel insert: ensures effective capture of impurities and minimizes the risk of damage to the installation.
- Easy maintenance: the ability to clean the filter without disassembly significantly simplifies the maintenance process and reduces downtime.
- Compliance with standards: tests and trials carried out in accordance with EN - 12266 - 1 standard confirm the high quality and safety of the product.
Construction and technical parameters
The FIG.823 sediment trap is characterized by an internal gas tapered thread (BSPP) connection, which facilitates installation in existing installations. The nominal diameter DN25 means the inner diameter of the pipeline for which the filter is intended – in this case 25 mm. The maximum operating temperature of the filter is 200°C, which allows it to be used in systems with elevated medium temperature. The filter design takes into account the requirements of the pressure equipment directive 2014/68/EU, and models with a nominal diameter DN≥32 have CE marking.
The filter has a stainless steel insert that effectively stops mechanical impurities. Various versions of inserts with different mesh density (e.g. F45, F28) are available, allowing you to select the filter to suit the specific needs of a given installation and the type of medium flowing through the filter. Additionally, versions with a magnetic insert are available for capturing ferromagnetic particles.
