Shut-off Valve – Reliable Flow Isolation in Demanding Installations
This cast iron shut-off valve, model GLO Fig. 215, with nominal diameter DN125 and pressure class PN16, is a robust solution for flow isolation in diverse systems. Manufactured from high-quality gray cast iron EN-GJL-250, it ensures durability and corrosion resistance. The design featuring a stem, disc, and body ring made of stainless steel guarantees long-term, trouble-free operation even under harsh conditions. An additional opening indicator simplifies valve status monitoring.
This valve performs excellently in hot and cold water systems, cooling circuits, steam systems, industrial processes, district heating, and power generation. Its versatility makes it an ideal choice for professionals and end-users seeking a reliable solution.
Construction and Materials – Guarantee of Durability
The valve features a high level of tightness (Class A per EN 12266-1), verified by testing in accordance with EN 12266-1. Flanges are machined in compliance with EN 1092-2 for body material group A, and the face-to-face dimension conforms to Series 1 per EN 558-1. The stem-to-disc connection is detachable and secured with a screw, facilitating maintenance and component replacement. The use of stainless steel for internal components – stem, disc, and body ring – enhances corrosion resistance and ensures extended service life.
The valve complies with the Pressure Equipment Directive 97/23/EC and bears the CE marking for DN 32. Maximum operating pressure is 16 bar, with nominal pressure PN also rated at 16 bar. Flow direction is toward the disc.
Compatibility and Easy Integration
Thanks to availability of technical data in popular engineering software libraries (Instal-therm, Instal-san, Audytor C.O. 3.8, Audytor H2O 1.5), integrating this valve into system designs is exceptionally simple and efficient—saving valuable time for designers and installers alike. The valve is designed for operation at temperatures up to +300°C and is suitable for liquids (including steam), but not for gases.
