Isolation Valve – Reliable Shut-off for Pipelines
This cast iron isolation valve GLO, with nominal diameter DN150 and pressure class PN16, is a robust solution suitable for diverse industrial and installation applications. Manufactured from high-quality gray cast iron EN-GJL-250, it ensures durability and corrosion resistance. The design featuring a detachable stem-to-bonnet connection (threaded) guarantees safe and reliable operation.
This valve is used in hot and cold water systems, cooling circuits, steam systems, industrial processes, district heating, and power generation. Thanks to its high tightness (Class A per EN 12266-1), it minimizes leakage risks and ensures efficient system performance. Designed for use with media such as glycol, industrial water, thermal oil, steam, and compressed air.
Construction and materials ensuring long-term operation
The valve features meticulous craftsmanship and corrosion-resistant materials. The stem is made of brass, while the control disc and body ring are made of bronze, ensuring reliability and extended service life. Additionally, the opening indicator facilitates easy valve status monitoring. The flanges are machined in accordance with EN 1092-2 for body material group A, and the face-to-face dimension complies with EN 558-1 Series 1. Compliance with the Pressure Equipment Directive 97/23/EC confirms safe operation.
The valve is compatible with popular calculation software such as Instal-therm, Instal-san, Audytor C.O. 3.8, and Audytor H2O 1.5, simplifying design and selection for specific requirements. Note that operation is possible at temperatures up to +300°C, depending on the version.
