Gate Valve – Reliable Flow Isolation in Various Installations
This cast iron gate valve ZGLO Fig. 215, with nominal diameter DN80 and nominal pressure PN16, is a robust solution for precise flow isolation in water, steam, and industrial systems. Manufactured from high-quality gray cast iron EN-GJL-250, it ensures durability and corrosion resistance. The design features a detachable stem-to-bonnet connection secured by a screw, combined with stainless steel components in critical areas, guaranteeing tightness and long-term reliability. An opening indicator allows visual confirmation of the valve’s position.
This valve is suitable for applications in hot and cold water systems, cooling circuits, steam systems, industrial processes, district heating, and power generation. It is a versatile valve component that performs reliably in both new installations and system retrofits.
Construction and Materials – Guarantee of Reliability
The valve body is made from durable gray cast iron EN-GJL-250, providing resistance to pressure and mechanical damage. Critical internal components – the stem, regulating disc, and body seat – are manufactured from stainless steel, enhancing corrosion resistance and ensuring long-lasting tightness. The stem-to-disc connection is detachable and fastened with a screw, facilitating maintenance and part replacement. The valve is equipped with flanges machined according to EN 1092-2 for body material group A, and its face-to-face dimension complies with EN 558-1 Series 1.
Thanks to the use of high-quality materials and precise engineering, the valve meets the requirements of the Pressure Equipment Directive 97/23/EC and carries the CE marking for DN 32. It achieves Class A tightness according to EN 12266-1 after testing and inspection in accordance with this standard.
Compatibility and Design Support
The valve’s technical data is integrated into popular calculation software libraries, including Instal-therm, Instal-san, Audytor C.O. 3.8, and Audytor H2O 1.5, simplifying system design for professionals. The valve is designed for use with water, steam, compressed air, oil, and glycol – the full list of recommended media is provided in the manufacturer’s technical documentation (Zetkama). Maximum operating temperature: +300°C.
