Shut-off valve GLO Fig. 215C, DN100 PN16, ductile iron EN-GJS-400-18-LT, construction: 32, swing-check, loose disc with spring, stem-brass, disc and body ring-bronze 215C100C32
The shut-off valve zGLO Fig. 215C is a reliable solution for protecting installations against medium flow. Manufactured from ductile iron EN-GJS-400-18-LT, it offers high resistance to corrosion and mechanical damage. This model, with a nominal diameter DN100 and nominal pressure PN16, performs excellently under demanding industrial conditions and in building installations.
This valve combines shut-off and check valve functions, meaning it not only blocks flow but also prevents backflow. The spring-loaded loose disc ensures effective sealing, while precise manufacturing guarantees long-term, trouble-free operation. The stem is made of brass, and the disc and body ring are made of bronze, providing resistance to aggressive substances.
- High tightness: Sealing class A according to EN 12266-1 ensures minimal medium loss and installation safety.
- Versatile application: Suitable for hot and cold water, cooling systems, steam, and industrial processes, district heating, and power generation.
- Compliance with standards: Meets the requirements of the Pressure Equipment Directive 97/23/EC and carries CE marking for DN 32.
- Durable construction: Use of ductile iron and high-quality materials for the disc and stem ensures long service life.
- Software compatibility: Technical data is available in calculation software libraries such as Instal-therm, Instal-san, Audytor C.O. 3.8, and Audytor H2O 1.5 – facilitating design and selection of the appropriate solution.
The valve is designed in accordance with EN 558-1 (face-to-face dimension series 1) and EN 1092-2 (flange drilling). This ensures simple and intuitive installation, with perfect compatibility with existing systems. Additionally, the detachable connection between stem and disc via a screw facilitates servicing and replacement of components when needed. It operates in a temperature range from -30°C to +300°C at a maximum working pressure of 16 bar.
