Gate Valve – Reliable Shut-off for Demanding Installations
The gate valve zGLO Fig. 215C is a robust solution for flow shut-off in various types of installations. Manufactured from ductile cast iron, it ensures long-term, trouble-free operation even under harsh conditions. Designed for use in water systems, steam, industrial processes, district heating, and power generation.
Design and Materials – Guarantee of Leak-tightness and Durability
The valve design is based on proven solutions, resulting in high sealing performance (Class A per EN 12266-1). The body is made of ductile cast iron EN-GJS-400-18-LT, providing excellent resistance to corrosion and mechanical damage. The stem-to-bonnet connection is detachable, facilitating maintenance and component replacement. The stem is made of brass, while the load-reducing bonnet and body ring are made of bronze, ensuring smooth operation and extended service life. Flanges are machined in accordance with EN 1092-2 for material group A, and the face-to-face dimension complies with EN 558-1 Series 1 requirements.
Applications and Compliance with Standards
This valve performs excellently in hot, cold, and cooling water systems, as well as in steam systems. Its versatility makes it suitable for a wide range of industrial applications, including district heating and power generation. The valve meets the requirements of the Pressure Equipment Directive 97/23/EC and carries the CE marking for DN 32. Maximum operating pressure is 16 bar, with a nominal pressure rating (PN) of 16 bar.
- Wide range of applications: Ideal for water, steam, and industrial systems.
- High sealing performance: Class A per EN 12266-1 ensures minimal medium leakage.
- Robust construction: Ductile cast iron EN-GJS-400-18-LT guarantees corrosion and mechanical damage resistance.
- Standards compliance: Meets requirements of Pressure Equipment Directive 97/23/EC and standards EN 1092-2 and EN 558-1.
- Software compatibility: Technical data is available in the libraries of calculation software: Instal-therm, Instal-san, Audytor C.O. 3.8, and Audytor H2O 1.5 – simplifying design and component selection.
