Isolation Valve – Reliable Shut-off for Demanding Installations
This isolation valve, ZGLO Fig. 215C, is a robust solution for precise flow shut-off across a variety of systems. Manufactured from ductile cast iron, it ensures long-term, trouble-free operation even under harsh conditions. Ideal for both professional installers and end-users who value safety and reliability.
Construction and Materials – Guarantee of Durability
The valve features a design ensuring high sealing integrity (Class A per EN 12266-1). The body is made of ductile cast iron EN-GJS-400-18-LT, providing excellent resistance to corrosion and mechanical damage. The stem-to-disc connection is detachable and secured with a screw, facilitating service and component replacement. The stem is made of brass, while the regulating disc and body seat are made of bronze, ensuring smooth operation and high wear resistance. Flanges are machined in accordance with EN 1092-2 for body material group A, and the face-to-face dimension complies with EN 558-1 Series 1 requirements.
Application – Versatility in Practice
This valve is widely used in:
- Hot, cold, and chilled water systems – reliable shut-off in water supply networks;
- Steam systems – safe operation in heating installations;
- Industrial processes – resilience under demanding operating conditions;
- District heating – efficient control of heat flow;
- Power generation – reliability in critical applications.
The valve complies with the Pressure Equipment Directive 97/23/EC and bears the CE marking for DN 32, confirming conformity with European safety standards. Maximum operating pressure is 16 bar, with nominal pressure PN also rated at 16 bar.
Additionally, technical data for this valve is integrated into calculation software libraries such as Instal-therm, Instal-san, Audytor C.O. 3.8, and Audytor H2O 1.5, simplifying system design and component selection.
