Shut-off valve zGLO Fig. 215C, DN15 PN16, ductile iron EN-GJS-400-18-LT, design: 92, stem-to-bonnet connection – detachable – threaded, stem – brass, control disc and body ring – bronze, with opening indicator 215C015C92
Valve designed for demanding installations
The zGLO Fig. 215C shut-off valve is a robust solution for flow isolation in various types of installations. Manufactured from ductile iron EN-GJS-400-18-LT, it ensures long-lasting and reliable operation even under harsh conditions. Designed for DN15 and PN16 pressure rating, it performs optimally in water, steam, and heating systems.
Construction and materials – guarantee of tightness and durability
The key feature of this valve is the threaded connection between the stem and the disc, enabling disassembly and simplifying maintenance. The stem is made of brass, while the regulating disc and body shell are made of bronze, ensuring high resistance to corrosion and wear. An additional opening indicator allows for quick visual inspection of the valve’s position – useful during both installation and operation. The valve complies with the Pressure Equipment Directive 97/23/EC and carries the CE marking for DN 32, confirming its conformity with European safety standards.
Application and compatibility
The zGLO Fig. 215C valve is widely used in:
- Hot, cold, and chilled water systems
- Steam systems
- Industrial processes
- District heating
- Power generation
Thanks to compatibility with popular calculation programs – Instal-therm, Instal-san, Audytor C.O. 3.8, and Audytor H2O 1.5 – designers and installers can easily integrate it into their projects. The valve flanges are machined in accordance with EN 1092-2 for material group A, and the face-to-face dimension conforms to Series 1 per EN 558-1. The valve achieves Class A tightness according to EN 12266-1 and has passed rigorous testing confirming its safety and reliability in compliance with EN 12266-1.
