Shut-off valve zGLO Fig. 215C, DN200 PN16, ductile iron EN-GJS-400-18-LT, construction: 31, check and shut-off, loose disc with spring, stem, disc and body ring – stainless steel 215C200C31
The gate valve with GLO Fig. 215C is a reliable solution for protecting installations against medium flow. Manufactured from ductile iron EN-GJS-400-18-LT, it offers high resistance to corrosion and mechanical damage. This model, with a nominal diameter DN200 and nominal pressure PN16, performs excellently in a wide range of industrial and utility applications.
This valve is a check-gate type, meaning it not only shuts off flow but also prevents backflow. The spring-loaded loose disc, combined with stainless steel components for the stem, disc, and body ring, ensure tightness and long-term operation. The valve design has been tested and complies with EN 12266-1, guaranteeing Class A tightness. Additionally, the valve conforms to the Pressure Equipment Directive 97/23/EC and bears the CE marking for DN 32.
- Robust construction: Body made of ductile iron EN-GJS-400-18-LT ensures resistance to high pressure and extreme operating conditions.
- Versatile application: Ideal for hot and cold water, cooling systems, steam, as well as industrial processes, district heating, and power generation.
- Tightness and safety: Check-gate design with stainless steel components ensures leak-tightness and prevents medium backflow.
- Compliance with standards: Meets requirements of EN 12266-1 and Pressure Equipment Directive 97/23/EC – confirmation of quality and safety.
- Software compatibility: Technical data is available in popular calculation software libraries such as Instal-therm, Instal-san, Audytor C.O. 3.8, and Audytor H2O 1.5 – simplifying design and component selection.
The valve features flanges machined according to EN 1092-2 for body material A and installation length compliant with EN 558-1 Series 1. Available optional versions include a stellite-seated seat or hardened disc upon request, allowing customization for specific installation requirements. Special versions – throttling valves with various stem-to-disc connection options and opening indicators – can also be ordered based on operational needs.
