Installation protection and user comfort
The S201-C40NA overcurrent circuit breaker is a reliable protection for your electrical installation. Designed to protect circuits against overloads and short circuits, it ensures safety in residential, commercial and industrial buildings. Its compact size (occupies 2 modules) facilitates installation, and the C characteristic guarantees an appropriate response to sudden load changes.
Functionality and technical parameters
This single-pole circuit breaker with an additional neutral pole (1P+N) with a rated current of 40A effectively protects against the effects of overloads and short circuits. The rated switching capacity of up to 6kA at 230V and 10kA at 400V ensures effective protection even in the event of high short-circuit currents. Made of high-quality materials, the circuit breaker is characterized by high resistance to environmental conditions and long service life. Designed to operate at temperatures from -25°C to 55°C and frequencies of 50-60Hz.
Installation and application
The S201-C40NA circuit breaker is mounted on a TH35 rail, which facilitates and speeds up installation. It accepts both solid (up to 35 mm²) and stranded wires (up to 25 mm²), providing flexibility during connection. The IP20 degree of protection provides protection against touch, but does not protect against the effects of water. The possibility of expanding with additional equipment increases the functionality of the system. The C characteristic allows it to react more slowly to short current surges, so it tolerates starting devices with a motor well. Protects the circuit against overload and short circuit - like most circuit breakers in this class. Compliance with IEC/EN 60898-1 and IEC/EN 60947-2 standards guarantees safety and reliability of operation.
