Atmospheric discharge protection – freestanding insulated mast

This freestanding mast, designed to protect against the effects of atmospheric discharges, is a key element of a lightning protection system. It is particularly useful in situations where it is impossible to maintain an adequate isolation distance from roof elements or electrical devices. Its design allows for the safe conduction of electrical charge to the down conductor network, minimizing the risk of damage and ensuring safety.

The mast is complete and ready for installation, including all necessary elements: aluminum finial, concrete weights, tripod base, clamps, insulator, mat, and conductor connection. Made of high-quality materials – aluminum, fiberglass, and electrolytically galvanized steel – it guarantees years of reliability and corrosion resistance.

Design and application

The mast, with a height of 4000 mm, is designed to work with high-voltage conductors (HVC). Its insulated design ensures safe use near electrical devices. A solid tripod base provides stability even in harsh weather conditions. Concrete weights, weighing 3x24 kg, ensure the stability of the structure without the need for gluing to the roof covering – which is important in every wind zone.
