Lightning protection – freestanding mast

This freestanding mast on a tripod, with a height of 3500 mm, is a key element of the lightning protection system. It serves to intercept direct lightning strikes and safely discharge the current to the ground, minimizing the risk of damage to the building and its equipment. It is designed to protect both buildings and metal roof structures.

The mast is available in two material versions: galvanized steel and aluminum, allowing it to be adapted to specific installation requirements and environmental conditions. The set includes a needle (aluminum in the aluminum version), concrete weights, mats, and a connector for the grounding conductor – everything needed for proper installation and operation.

Safety and compliance with standards

The mast design has been tested in accordance with PN-EN 62651-1, which guarantees its effectiveness and reliability. The mast connecting elements are able to transfer an impact current of up to 200kA – this is confirmed by the SEP - BBJ Lublin certificate. This means that the mast meets the requirements for Class I lightning protection, providing the highest level of safety.

Construction and installation

Remember to properly connect the mast to the ground using an appropriate grounding conductor (not included). Installation should be carried out by a qualified installer in accordance with applicable regulations and standards.
