This lightning protection mast, designed for elevated structures with a height of 21 meters, is a key element of the lightning protection system for facilities exposed to direct lightning strikes. The construction combines a solid concrete foundation with a durable hot-dip galvanized steel mast, ensuring stability and long-lasting protection. It is an ideal solution for securing large areas, including industrial facilities, high-rise buildings, or critical infrastructure.

Construction and application

The mast consists of two main elements: a concrete foundation and a steel mast. The foundation, with dimensions of 600(900)x600(900)x1500mm and a weight of 1500 kg, provides stability even in harsh weather conditions. The steel mast, made of hot-dip galvanized steel, guarantees corrosion resistance and durability. The whole is designed for effective protection against the effects of atmospheric discharges.

This mast is used wherever protection against lightning strikes is required in facilities with increased risk – from industrial halls to telecommunication towers. It allows for the creation of a wide protection zone, securing not only the facility itself but also the surrounding area.

Durability and safety

The mast structure has been calculated for Limit States of Load-Bearing Capacity, taking into account a safety factor of 1.4. This means that it can withstand strong wind loads up to 10°(B), allowing its use in Class I lightning protection. This guarantees reliable operation even in extreme weather conditions. The solid construction and precise workmanship ensure safe and effective protection against atmospheric discharges for many years of use.
