This lightning protection mast, mounted on a solid concrete foundation, is a comprehensive solution for protecting buildings and areas from the effects of atmospheric discharges. It is ideal for facilities with increased risk where ensuring a wide protection zone is crucial. The mast design allows for the protection of not only a single building but also a group of tall objects in its vicinity.

Construction and durability

The mast is made of hot-dip galvanized steel, which guarantees high corrosion resistance and long-term reliability. The concrete foundation with dimensions of 250x250x1000mm and a weight of 100 kg ensures stability and solid anchoring in the ground. The entire structure has been calculated according to the Limit State of Load (LSL) with a safety factor of 1.4. This means that the mast can withstand strong wind gusts – up to 10°(B) – allowing it to be used in areas exposed to extreme weather conditions and meets the requirements of Class I lightning protection.

Installation and parameters

Mast installation requires the use of M16 bolts (tightening torque 170-230 Nm), also made of galvanized steel. The mast height is 10500 mm, and its weight is 38 kg. The mast fin has segments of different diameters (12-24/60 mm) and lengths (4500/6000 mm). The mast has been designed with different wind zones in Poland (I, II, III) in mind, making it a universal solution for many locations.
