This lightning protection mast, designed for mounting on a concrete foundation, is a comprehensive solution for protecting facilities exposed to lightning strikes. Its design allows for the creation of extensive protection zones, making it an ideal choice for buildings with high risk, as well as groups of tall structures requiring common protection. The mast reaches a height of 15000 mm and combines the strength of hot-dip galvanized steel with the solidity of a concrete foundation.

Construction and application

The mast consists of a trunk made of hot-dip galvanized steel and a massive concrete foundation with dimensions of 350x350x1200mm and a weight of 220kg. The foundation ensures the stability of the structure and effective grounding. Hot-dip galvanized steel guarantees long-lasting corrosion resistance, even in harsh weather conditions. The mast is particularly recommended for places where a large insulation distance is required and protection of multiple objects simultaneously.

Safety and compliance with standards

The mast structure has been calculated for Limit States of Load-bearing capacity, taking into account a safety factor of 1.4. This means that the mast can withstand strong wind loads up to 10°(B), allowing its use in lightning protection systems of class I - i.e. those with the highest degree of protection. Thanks to this, it provides effective protection against the effects of atmospheric discharges, minimizing the risk of damage and threats to life.
