Atmospheric discharge protection – isolated mast

This mast, designed for mounting on walls or structures, is a key element of the lightning protection system. Its task is to intercept direct atmospheric discharges and safely discharge the electrical charge to down conductors, minimizing the risk of damage and ensuring the safety of the building and the equipment inside. A height of 7000 mm makes this mast ideal for protecting high-rise objects.

The mast design takes into account maintaining a safe distance between the protected element and the lightning strike point. Horizontal insulating rods, an integral part of the system, act as a barrier, preventing the electric arc from jumping. The complete set includes an aluminum needle, insulators, and a connector for the cable – everything necessary for proper installation and operation of the system.
