This shielded F/FTP category 6A cable is a solid solution for building reliable computer networks. Designed for both professional and home use, it provides high data transmission performance up to 10 Gb/s and is resistant to electromagnetic interference. Thanks to its construction with copper wires and double shielding, it guarantees a stable connection and minimizes the risk of signal loss. The cable is ideal for internal installations in buildings, including CCTV systems and powering PoE++ devices.

Safety and compliance with standards

The cable is made of LSOH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) materials, which means that in the event of a fire, it releases a minimal amount of toxic gases and smoke. It meets the Dca fire reaction class, ensuring safety in buildings. In addition, the product has a FORCE certificate confirming its high quality and compliance with ISO/IEC 11801 and ANSI/TIA – 568 standards. Using an ALANTEC cable ensures that the installation meets applicable regulations and standards.

Construction and technical parameters

The cable consists of four twisted pairs of copper wires with a diameter of 0.57 mm (23 AWG), each wrapped in polyester foil for individual shielding. The whole is surrounded by an additional polyester foil, creating a double F/FTP shield. The grounding wire ensures effective interference discharge. The outer coating is made of halogen-free LSOH plastic, which increases safety. The cable is available on a 500-meter spool and is characterized by a gray color that makes it easier to identify in installations. Because the cable is backward compatible with lower category components (patch panels or RJ45 keystone modules), it can be easily integrated with existing network infrastructure. This cable is distinguished by category 6A and F/FTP shielding, and its wires are made of copper with a cross-section of 4x2x23 AWG. Polyethylene insulation and LSOH coating ensure safety and compliance with fire safety standards class Dca. The cable enables data transmission at speeds up to 10 Gb/s in the frequency band up to 500 MHz (with extended characteristics up to 700 MHz).
