This universal OS2 fiber optic cable, designated ZW-NOTKtsdD / U-DQ(ZN)BH - SM 8J 9/125 LSOH, is a solution designed for both indoor and outdoor networks. Construction and Application

The cable is designed with installers in mind. The single-tube construction of ZW-NOTKtsdD (U-DQ(ZN)BH) facilitates fiber processing and splicing. The tube contains 4 to 24 fibers, allowing for efficient data transmission in point-to-point topologies or teletechnical networks. Additionally, the optical fibers are protected against moisture with a hydrophobic gel and reinforced with aramid fibers to resist rodent damage, increasing their durability and resistance to mechanical damage. Using the cable in LAN, FTTH, or FTTx networks guarantees reliable communication and fast data transfer.

Safety and Compliance with Standards

The cable has an LSOH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) jacket, which ensures safe use inside buildings. This material is characterized by low smoke emission during combustion and the absence of halogens, minimizing the risk of toxic gas formation. It meets the requirements of Euroclass Eca according to EN 50575:2014 + A1:2016 and Regulation (EU) No 305/2011 (CPR). The fibers comply with the G.652.D standard and are also compatible with the newer G.657.A standard, ensuring full interoperability with other network devices. The outer diameter of the cable is 5.5 mm (with a tolerance of +/- 5%). It is available in black with white identification printing every 1 meter.
