Air disconnect-grounding switch – reliable protection for medium voltage lines
This RUNMp III SA 24/4 type disconnect-grounding switch, manufactured by ALPAR, is a key element of energy infrastructure, designed for safe and efficient operation of overhead medium voltage lines. The device combines the functions of a disconnector and a grounding switch, providing comprehensive protection for electrical circuits. The design allows both closing and opening circuits, as well as effective grounding of disconnected network segments.
Construction and application – solidity and versatility
The disconnector is built on a solid S235 steel rod, equipped with square washers and an M20 nut. Hot-dip galvanizing provides high corrosion resistance, guaranteeing long-term reliability even in harsh weather conditions. The threads on the hook bolts are rolled, which increases their strength and precision.
The device is primarily used in suspending suspension and through insulators for self-supporting insulated wires on E and ŻN poles, as well as on building walls. The ability to mount both vertically and horizontally increases its versatility and adaptability to different network configurations. Cooperation with motor drives enables remote control of the disconnector via radio.
Key features and benefits
Durable construction: The use of S235 steel and hot-dip galvanizing guarantee corrosion resistance and long device life.
Versatile mounting: The ability to mount in a vertical or horizontal position allows adaptation to the specifics of a given installation.
Disconnector and grounding switch function: Combining two functions in one device simplifies installation and reduces costs.
Safety of use: Opal contacts ensure effective arc quenching during switching operations. A flexible movable connection minimizes the risk of damage to the working conductors of the line.
Compliance with standards: Meets the requirements of PN-EN 62271-103:2011 and PN-EN 61140:2005/A1, which confirms its safety and reliability.
Rated current: The device is adapted to operate with a continuous rated current of 400A and a short-time short-circuit current of up to 16kA.
Ease of use: Simple operation and the possibility of mounting a manual or electric drive facilitate the work of installers.
Remember to check the correct operation of the contacts and arc suppressors after mounting the device on the pole – a firm, uniform movement of the manual drive lever will ensure proper operation of the disconnector. Transport the device securing it against movement and avoid stacking them on top of each other during storage.
