The MWN-130 NUBIS water meter is a dry-type measuring instrument designed for accurate measurement of hot water consumption at temperatures up to 130°C and a maximum working pressure of 16 bar. The horizontal rotor axis design allows installation in both horizontal and vertical pipelines — the register can be oriented upwards, sideways, or along the flow direction without affecting measurement accuracy.

The housing is made of cast iron, coated with a durable protective paint, ensuring long-term performance in aggressive environmental conditions — resistant to corrosion and mechanical damage. The IP65 protection rating safeguards the register against dust and water jets, making it suitable for both technical rooms and outdoor installations.

The flanged connection complies with DN125 (5"), enabling easy integration into existing district heating or industrial systems. The installation length of 250 mm matches standard flange spacing — no pipeline modifications are required during replacement.

The continuous flow rate Q3 is 250 m³/h. The rangeability factor R (Q3/Q1) is 160 — meaning the meter accurately measures flow from a minimum of 1.563 m³/h up to a maximum of 250 m³/h. This enables detection of even minor consumption changes under high-flow conditions — crucial for systems with variable flow rates.

The meter is compatible with remote reading systems (AMR). Communication modules — radio, M-Bus, pulse, or GSM — can be mounted directly onto the unit without replacing the register. Resistance to external magnetic fields complies with EN 14154-3 and EN-ISO 4064-2 standards, ensuring reliable measurement even in the presence of strong electromagnetic interference sources.
