The MWN-130 NUBIS water meter is a dry-type measuring instrument designed for measuring hot water consumption at temperatures up to 130°C and a working pressure up to 16 bar. It is engineered for operation in transmission networks with large, constant flow rates – such as district heating systems, industrial facilities, hospitals, or multi-family housing developments.
The housing is made of painted cast iron, providing resistance to corrosion and mechanical damage. The flanged connection (DN200) allows installation in pipelines in accordance with PN-EN 1092-2 standards. The working length of 350 mm corresponds to standard flange spacing, eliminating the need for special adaptations during installation.
Installation is possible both horizontally (counter facing upward or sideways) and vertically (counter facing sideways). The screw-type construction (Woltman type) with a horizontal rotor axis ensures stable operation at high flow rates – Q3 = 630 m³/h. A rangeability factor R = 125 indicates that the minimum flow rate (Q1) is 5.04 m³/h, ensuring measurement accuracy even under low-load conditions.
The six-dial counter has an IP65 protection rating – it is dust-tight and protected against water jets. There is no contact between the measuring mechanism and the fluid, eliminating the risk of wear caused by sediment or the corrosive effects of hot water. Readings are clearly visible without additional lighting.
The device is adapted for mounting communication modules: reed-switch, optoelectronic, M-Bus, radio, or GSM. This enables integration with remote reading systems (AMR) without the need to replace the device. It complies with EN 14154-3 and EN-ISO 4064-2 requirements and is resistant to external magnetic fields.
