Properties and applications

Armaflex insulation is characterized by an exceptionally low thermal conductivity coefficient (λ = 0.033 W/(m·K)), which provides excellent thermal insulation properties. The high water vapor diffusion resistance coefficient (µ = 10,000) effectively prevents condensation from forming on the surface of the insulated elements. This material is used in the insulation of pipes, ventilation ducts, tanks, fittings and valves. It works well in both new installations and in the modernization of existing systems. Additionally, thanks to its sound-absorbing properties, it reduces noise generated by water and sewage installations.
