Tubolit DG Plus polyethylene insulation is a proven choice for heating, sanitary and water supply installations. Thanks to its flexibility and insulating properties, it effectively reduces energy losses, protects against freezing and reduces noise in piping systems. This product is designed for use in both residential and industrial buildings, as well as in outdoor installations.

Tubolit DG Plus is characterized by a closed-cell polyethylene foam structure, which provides low thermal conductivity at a level of 0.0035 W/(m·K). This translates to significant energy savings and reduced CO2 emissions. The material is easy to process and install, and its flexibility allows it to be adapted to various shapes of pipes and installation elements. Additionally, the insulation is resistant to commonly used building materials such as cement, lime and gypsum.

Safety and compliance with standards

One of the key features of Tubolit DG Plus is its high reaction to fire class – B-s1, d0. This means that the material is difficult to ignite, normally emits smoke and does not drip during a fire. It meets the requirements of PN-EN 14313:2009 standard and has a CE mark, confirming compliance with European regulations and safety standards. The fire class BL-s1, d0 guarantees a high level of fire protection in the building. Thanks to this, the insulation qualifies as non-combustible (NRO).

Installation and application

Tubolit DG Plus finds wide application in the insulation of pipes made of various materials – copper, steel, plastics and multilayer pipes. It can be used in installations with a maximum operating temperature of +100°C. Installation is simple and intuitive – the insulation can be slipped onto straight sections of pipes and adapted to bends and branches. Dedicated Armacell adhesives are recommended for gluing insulation elements. In areas exposed to stress, it is worth using additional protection in the form of Tubolit clips. Proper installation ensures optimal thermal and acoustic insulation efficiency for a long time.
