Properties and application

Tubolit S is characterized by a very low thermal conductivity coefficient of 0.04 W/(m·K), which translates into effective reduction of heat losses – up to 90%. The protective foil on the outside protects the insulation from mechanical damage and weathering. The product is available in blue, which makes it easier to identify cold water installations. It can be used to insulate copper and steel pipes, both in central heating systems, hot and cold domestic water systems, and in drainage installations. Its flexibility allows it to be adapted to various shapes and pipe diameters.

Safety and compliance with standards

Tubolit S has a fire reaction class E according to EN 13501-1, which ensures a high level of fire safety. The product is manufactured in accordance with PN-EN 14313:2009 and has a CE mark, confirming its compliance with European regulations and quality standards. The insulation thickness is 27 mm, which provides optimal thermal insulation for most applications. Made of PE foam that is recyclable, making it an environmentally friendly solution.
