Rockwool insulation wrap – effective thermal and acoustic protection

SteinWolle ALU is a wrap made of high-quality rockwool, covered with a durable aluminum foil reinforced with a mesh. The product is designed for thermal and acoustic insulation of central heating pipelines, hot and cold water, and ventilation ducts. Thanks to the self-adhesive tab, installation is quick and convenient, and the cut on one side makes it easy to fit the pipe.

Properties and application

SteinWolle ALU wrap is used in residential buildings, as well as in public and industrial facilities. Its versatility results from a wide range of operating temperatures (up to +250°C) and high fire resistance – fire class A2L - s1, d0. Low thermal conductivity (λ ≤ 0.037 W/(m·K) for a thickness of 20-40 mm) ensures effective reduction of heat loss, which translates into energy savings. In addition, rockwool exhibits sound-absorbing properties, reducing noise in installations.
