Made of high-quality rock wool, it is coated with reinforced aluminum foil, which further strengthens the structure and ensures durability. The product is available in sections of 1 meter in length, making it easy to adapt to specific needs.

Construction and installation

The wrap is characterized by a round shape and has a practical cut on one side, making it easy to fit to pipelines. Additionally, it is equipped with a self-adhesive flap, which significantly speeds up and simplifies the installation process – for both professionals and end users. This makes installation quick, clean and does not require additional tools.

Safety and operating parameters

SteinWolle ALU meets high fire safety standards, achieving a fire class of A2L – s1, d0. This means that the material is difficult to ignite, limits the spread of fire and does not produce smoke or burning droplets. It can be used in installations with a maximum medium temperature of +250°C. The thermal conductivity of the wrap is ≤ 0.037 W/(m·K) for a thickness of 20-40 mm. Rock wool provides not only thermal insulation, but also noise reduction in installations, improving user comfort. The material density is in the range of 80-100 kg/m3, which affects its insulating properties.
