Professional thermal and acoustic insulation of pipelines

SteinWolle ALU insulation wrap is a proven choice for both installers and building owners. Made of high-quality rock wool, covered with a durable aluminum foil reinforced with a mesh, it provides effective protection against heat loss and noise. The product is available in sections of 1 meter in length, making it easy to adapt to specific needs.

Properties and application

SteinWolle ALU wrap is designed for thermal insulation of central heating pipelines, hot and cold water pipes, and ventilation ducts. It will be useful in residential, public and industrial buildings. Thanks to the self-adhesive tab, installation is quick and convenient, and the cut on one side makes it easy to fit pipes of different diameters. Rock wool is characterized by excellent insulation properties, and aluminum foil additionally reflects thermal radiation, increasing the efficiency of insulation.

Safety and parameters

SteinWolle ALU meets high fire safety standards – it has a fire class of A2L-s1, d0, which means limited flammability and no emission of smoke or burning droplets. The maximum temperature of the medium with which the wrap can be used is +250°C. Thermal conductivity λ is ≤ 0.037 W/(m·K) for wrap thickness of 20-40 mm and ≤ 0.038 W/(m·K) for thickness above 40 mm. This minimizes heat loss and reduces heating costs. The material of the wrap is rock wool with a density of 80-100 kg/m3. The product also has acoustic insulation properties.
