Heat recovery ventilation unit – efficiency and comfort

The Aquila 305 ventilation unit is an advanced solution providing optimal air quality in rooms while simultaneously saving energy. Thanks to the use of a counter-current heat exchanger, the unit recovers up to 95% of the heat from exhaust air, heating the incoming air from outside. This translates to lower heating costs and thermal comfort throughout the year. The VARP305L model, in a left-hand version for ceiling mounting, is particularly recommended for modern energy-efficient buildings.

Construction and performance

The Aquila 305 unit is equipped with energy-efficient fans with Ziehl-Abegg motors, which ensure quiet and efficient operation. The unit's performance is 313 m³/h at a pressure of 100 Pa, allowing for effective air exchange in medium-sized rooms. An automatic bypass allows for 100% bypassing of the heat exchanger, which is useful in the summer when the priority is cooling the rooms. Additionally, the unit has insulation minimizing heat loss.

Functionality and expansion options

The Aquila 305 unit offers a wide range of possibilities to adapt to individual needs. The possibility of using a pre-filter improves the quality of filtered air and extends the life of the main filters. The device is compatible with the VACS-1 air quality sensor and the VSHC carbon dioxide and humidity sensor, allowing for automatic control of the unit's operation depending on current conditions. The housing made of EPP (expanded polypropylene) provides excellent sound insulation and resistance to mechanical damage. The diameter of the connection nozzles is Ø160 mm, and the condensate drain is 32 mm. The unit's power consumption is 210W, and the preheater is 750W. The noise level is 49 dB(A).
