Heat Recovery Ventilation Unit – Efficiency and Comfort
The Avira 505 ventilation unit is an advanced solution for mechanical ventilation with heat recovery, designed to provide high-quality air and optimize energy consumption. The device is perfect for both newly built and modernized residential and commercial properties. Thanks to its ceiling-mounted design, the HRV unit is discreet and does not take up valuable space.
Construction and Performance
Avira 505 is characterized by high heat recovery efficiency, reaching up to 95%. It utilizes a cross-flow heat exchanger, which effectively transfers thermal energy between the supply and exhaust air. The unit's performance is up to 546 m³/h at 100 Pa, allowing for effective air exchange in rooms of various sizes. The use of energy-efficient EC motors in radial fans minimizes electricity consumption. The maximum power of the pre-heater is 2000 W, allowing for additional air heating during the winter period.
Functionality and Control
The Avira 505 HRV unit offers a wide range of control options and customization to individual needs. It is standardly equipped with an AERO 4 controller with a NANO COLOR 2 color panel, which enables intuitive operation and monitoring of the device's operating parameters. Thanks to the automatic bypass (100% exchanger bypass), the system can effectively operate in various weather conditions. Additionally, remote control is possible via the iNext module and mobile application (Android, iOS) or web browser. Integration with air quality sensors, carbon dioxide concentration and humidity (VSPM, VSHC, VSHW) and the MODBUS RTU protocol facilitate integration with BMS systems.
User Comfort and Air Quality
The construction of the Avira 505 unit has been designed with user comfort and high air quality in mind. The tight construction prevents odors and pollutants from the exhaust air from entering the supply air. Excellent insulation of the housing made of EPP (expanded polypropylene) reduces heat loss and noise. The device is standardly equipped with two M5 filters (ISO ePM10), and it is possible to use F7 filters (ISO ePM1) with a higher filtration class for even better air quality. The heat exchanger can be washed, making it easy to keep clean. The housing has a scratch resistance of 5H and antibacterial properties in accordance with ASTM E2149-13a.
