Steel expansion sleeve – non-suspended mounting of cable routes

The steel expansion sleeve TRSOM10 is an element used for the safe and durable suspension of cable routes. Made of steel, with a galvanically coated surface, it provides corrosion resistance and long-term reliability. Its construction based on an internal thread (2x internal thread) in size 10 mm allows for a solid connection with other elements of the mounting system. The sleeve length is 40 mm.

Application and safety

The product meets the requirements of the E90 functional maintenance system according to DIN 4102-12. This means that it ensures at least 90 minutes of functionality of critical systems in the event of a fire. It is particularly important for installations:

• fire alarm systems,
• fire alarm systems,
• emergency lighting,
• water sprinklers.

It is important to remember the minimum anchoring depth, which should be equal to the length of the sleeve – this is crucial to ensure adequate holding force. For mounting, it is recommended to use a dedicated anchor for steel sleeves OTR.

Material and additional information

The sleeve is standardly made of galvanized steel (marking G). On request, a version made of stainless steel (marking E) in grades A2 or A4 is also available – ideal for environments with increased corrosion requirements. Solid construction and precision workmanship guarantee the stability and safety of cable installations.
