Symmetrical reducer for cable trays – adaptation and installation flexibility

The symmetrical reducer RKSL150/100H42 is an element used to change the width of the cable route, allowing a smooth transition between different dimensions of cable trays. Made of steel with a thickness of 0.7 mm, it ensures the strength and stability of the structure. The product is particularly useful when designing and modifying electrical installations where adaptation to existing elements or optimization of the cable layout is required.

Construction and application

The RKSL150/100H42 reducer is designed for cable trays with a height of 42 mm. Its symmetrical construction allows for universal use – regardless of the direction of width change. Made of high-quality steel, it offers good resistance to mechanical damage and corrosion, especially in the hot-dip galvanized version. Mounting is done using SGKM6x12 or SGM6x12 screws, which provides a quick and secure way to connect to the rest of the system.

Materials and protection

Standardly, the reducer is made of steel galvanized by the Sendzimir method (PN-EN 10346:2015-09), which guarantees basic anti-corrosion protection. Versions are also available to order: steel galvanized by hot-dip galvanizing (PN-EN ISO 1461:2023-02) providing higher corrosion resistance, stainless steel for applications requiring particular durability, and a painted version in the standard RAL color palette for aesthetic finishing. Hot-dip galvanizing further increases resistance to atmospheric factors and corrosion, making it ideal for outdoor use or in harsh environmental conditions.
