BiT 1000 Power Power Cable – reliable power supply in various conditions

The BiT 1000 Power cable is a flexible design intended for powering electrical devices in low-voltage networks of 0.6/1 kV. It is characterized by high flexibility, which facilitates installation and allows for use in mobile and portable installations. Made of flexible class 5 copper wire (according to PN-EN 60228, EN 60228, IEC 60228) and XLPE insulation, it ensures safe and efficient energy transmission. This cable is suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications, as well as for laying in the ground.

Construction and user parameters

The BiT 1000 Power cable has been designed with durability and reliability in mind. Its construction includes:

• Conductors: Made of flexible class 5 copper wire, which ensures good conductivity and flexibility.
• Conductor insulation: XLPE (cross-linked polyethylene), guaranteeing high resistance to mechanical and electrical damage.
• Outer sheath: PVC (polyvinyl chloride), protecting the cable from external factors such as moisture, UV radiation and abrasion.
• Conductor cross-section: Available in a cross-section of 35 mm², which allows for the transmission of significant currents.
• Number of conductors: Single-core – ideal for dedicated power circuits.

Thanks to its construction, this cable exhibits resistance to operating temperatures from -40°C to +80°C (fixed installation) and from -5°C to +80°C (mobile installations), and the maximum temperature of the conductors during operation is 90°C, and during a short circuit as much as 250°C. The minimum bending radius for flexible connections is 10xØ, and for fixed laying – 6xØ.

The BiT 1000 Power cable is used in:

• Laying in the ground (with appropriate protection).
• Applications requiring a flexible cable with high mechanical strength.

The cable meets the requirements of standards: PN-EN 60228, PN-EN 60332-1-2, PN-EN 60332-3-24 and PN-EN 60079-11, which confirms its safety and compliance with applicable regulations. It also has a EU declaration of conformity No. 379/1/EU/BITNER issued by Zakłady Kablowe BITNER Sp. z o.o. In addition, it meets the requirements of the ZN-CB-65:2012 standard for BiT 1000 control and power cables.
