Water meter JS for cold water, type GSD8-RFM, DN15 (1/2"), Q3=2.5 m³/h, R100/50, Tmax: 50°C, L=110 mm, connection GZ3/4", dry-running, anti-magnetic, for remote reading 8MA00F12SSCIV0
Single-jet dry-running water meter with anti-magnetic protection and mechanical readout
The water meter is designed for measuring cold water consumption in water supply systems requiring high accuracy and resistance to interference. Its construction is based on a four-pole magnetic coupling mechanism that eliminates slippage and disconnection, ensuring stable measurement even under prolonged use. The impeller is maintained in a hydro-magnetic balance, enhancing sensitivity to low flow rates, while a sapphire bearing in the counting mechanism extends the device’s lifespan.
The eight-drum mechanical counter rotates 360°, enabling easy and unambiguous reading without the need to reorient the meter. Compliant with the MID Directive, it meets accuracy classes R100-H (horizontal) and R50-V (vertical), certifying its suitability for billing applications. The nominal flow Q3 is 2.5 m³/h, with maximum flow Q4 at 3.125 m³/h, making it ideal for residential or small commercial applications.
The threaded connection GZ 3/4" ensures compatibility with most standard piping. Dimensions (L=110 mm) and weight (0.5 kg) facilitate installation in confined spaces—e.g., near walls or in meter cabinets. The device holds a certified Hygiene Certificate and is suitable for measuring potable water.
An additional anti-magnetic ring protects against fraudulent tampering via external magnetic interference—a critical feature for public or multi-family installations. It does not include an integrated pulse transmitter—it is not a remote-read model. The GSD8-RFM version is a separate model with a radio module.
Operating temperature must not exceed 50°C—unsuitable for hot water circuits. Working pressure up to 16 bar is sufficient for municipal and local systems. Installation requires only a standard shut-off valve and seals—no specialized tools or post-installation calibration are needed.
